i have numerous foscam IP cameras ( Fi8918W) that will allow me to see my household from anyplace in the planet that has an World wide web connection,we had some concerns with washed out and discolored images on the FI8918W , it wasn't so terrible , but this new FI8910W has the IR cut filter and fixes the problems associated to washed out and discolored pictures , it is $ten.00 a great deal more , but if I am paying 89.99 (which is a very low price tag for such a device in the very first place) this $ten.00 wont make a huge distinction . Also The camera looks and feels nicer and much more durable then the old one . BTW the old one had a 1 Year warranty and this has a two year also something to feel about.
I bought this camera as a baby monitor remedy for my Baby . I have a iPhone and iPad , and having this camera has been a fantastic option to frequent child monitor's as we can see whats going on anyplace we go , and use it as a Nanny cam . I seriously like the potential to manage the camera. The setup can be a little complicated but there are some awesome posts on line to assist you on either Computer or Mac. I would very recommend this camera.The setup for permitting access to the camera outside your nearby network does need some specialized knowledge on how to configure port forwarding on your router. Based on your expertise that may be an problem, But if you go to the foscam web site they to have all directions how to do it , and immediately after setting it up I am Pleased now .
