I ordered three of these for a substantial garage location and the covered walkway approaches.
They arrived in two days (Nevada to Washington State), had been simple to install, and function fine.
A few notes: they take 2 AA batteries (not included). The units mount with two screws on the bottom (screws also not included, but quickly available at a hardware shop). The battery compartment is on the bottom, so do not tighten the screws down also far into the wood, or you are going to have a tough time when it comes to battery changing, as it is a twist to remove sort of issue to disengage the unit from the wall/ceiling. An option to screw mounting is two sided velcro (offered that the units only weigh 5.45 ounces/155 grams with the batteries inside).
There is an odd 1/2 inch open hole in the bottom of the unit that appears to have no valuable purpose other than to let in moisture and bugs. Plug this up with tape ahead of mounting.
Placing this unit in an region that is exposed to direct moisture (like rain), seems problematic as there are fairly a few places for the water to enter along the bottom plastic globe dome edging, and below the base.
The flashing red LED light is bright, and at a distance of extra than say 8 feet in a darkened area, the units appear comparable to my significantly additional expensive actual cameras installed last year.

Anything was as expected. We installed it out of door. It looks so real that neighbors asked me when I got them. And the flashing light functions really well. I have enjoyed put to use for outside and warning thieves away from our house. So excellent!
